LG could launch five new smartphones next month: Report

LG will reportedly launch five new smartphones next month. The offerings are said to cater to every price range, starting from the budget LG X2 to the flagship LG V35.

The LG Q7 and Q7 Plus have been already announced by the company but Etnews reveals the pricing and states that the devices could cost around 400,000 to 500,000 Won (Rs 25,365 - Rs 31,706 approx) in Korea. LG says that the smartphones will be launched in Europe next month, followed by subsequent launch in the Americas and Asia. Both the smartphones feature a similar 5.5-inch 18:9 FHD+ FullVision display and are powered by a 1.5Ghz or 1.8Ghz octa-core chipset, which is yet to be revealed. The Q7 Plus comes with a 16MP rear camera and with 4GB RAM/64GB internal storage whereas the Q7 sports a 13MP rear sensor and with 3GB RAM with 32GB of internal storage. Both phones come with an 8MP front-facing camera, with a 5MP wide-angle sensor. 

As per the report, the LG X2 is expected to be launched as a budget smartphone that features a 5-inch display and could be powered by the Snapdragon 425 SoC with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The device is tipped to feature a 13MP rear camera and come with a 5MP front-facing sensor. It is expected to be backed by a 2410 mAh battery, feature a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and could cost around 200,000 Won (Rs 12,500).
