DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Coming to Harrogate in the UK

Hilton has signed a franchise agreement with the Cairn Group to open DoubleTree by Hilton Harrogate. The hotel, formerly The Majestic Hotel Harrogate, will open at the end of 2019 following a £10 million refurbishment programme. 

Work has already begun on upgrading the stately Victorian hotel and once complete, will include 170 refreshed modern guestrooms, fitness facilities, a spa and pool and state-of-the-art conference and events space for up to 500 delegates.

For meetings and events, there will be six state-of-the-art boardrooms and nine conference and events suites. The hotel will also receive a boost to its restaurant offerings, which will include a champagne bar and restaurant, lounge bar, terrace and private dining room. 

The hotel will continue to be owned and operated by The Cairn Group and will create a number of new jobs at all levels.
