Tight security arrangements in place for PM Narendra Modi​'s visit to Odisha

BHUBANESWAR:  Commissionerate Police have put in place a thick blanket of security ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Cuttack on May 26. Twin City Commissioner of Police YB Khurania on Wednesday told mediapersons that the Prime Minister has a public meeting in Cuttack on May 26 and adequate security arrangements have been made in this regard. “The security has been tightened at the airport, near the helipad and the public meeting venue,” Khurania said. Police personnel in uniforms, plain clothes, mobile patrolling, foot patrolling, Quick Reaction Team personnel besides others will be deployed during the premier’s visit. About 100 platoons police force will be deployed in the Twin City.
