If Donald Trump has nothing to hide, then why are he and his “protectors,” Rudy Giuliani, Devin Nunes, Mark Meadows, Jim Jordan, Mitch McConnell, Paul Ryan and others trying so hard to hide “it”?
All of them took the oath to “defend our Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and domestic.” By what they are now saying and doing, it is my opinion that all of them have abdicated their oath and have pledged themselves, it seems to me, to undermining the investigation of Special Counsel Robert Mueller. Why does this not qualify all of the above “protectors” as obstructers of justice? If you abdicate your oath, is this not a betrayal of our Constitution, therefore our country? Maybe we should hold this faction as modern-day “Benedict Arnolds.”
Why are these same people trying so hard to shame and disgrace the FBI and intimidate Robert Mueller into “giving up”?
I worked 8½ years for the FBI Ident Division. What they will cause is the FBI officials to dig their heels in even deeper. Furthermore, no one is going to intimidate a Marine who ran under heavy enemy fire to retrieve a fellow fallen Marine and in the process was himself wounded. He was awarded a Bronze Star, a Purple Heart and other medals. Trump was awarded a bone spur.
A best friend of mine was in the Marine Corps. He says “Once a Marine, always a Marine.”
They abide by the esprit de corps until death. They take the oath with the utmost sincerity. So, who do you think the active and Marine vets are going to believe, Trump or Mueller? I have no doubts.
Mueller chose to join the Marines and knew he would most likely end up in action in Vietnam. Trump chose to take five deferments to stay out of Vietnam. Who has the courage, and who lives in fear? Every active military and vet knows, and so do you.
