Dry weather in west UP, light rain in east Delhi

Very light was recorded in isolated places in and dry prevailed in western parts of the state.

According to the Meteorological Department, day temperatures were above normal in Allahabad, Jhansi divisions, Kanpur, Lucknow, Bareilly, Moradabad, and yesterday.

The highest maximum temperature in the state was 46.2 degree Celsius, which was recorded in Jhansi and Banda.
