William M. "Bill" Mogyorosi, 58, of Monaca, died Monday, May 21, 2018, in West Penn Hospital. He was born November 12, 1959, in Sewickley, Pa., to the late William and Bernadette Lulkovich Mogyorosi. He was a self employed heavy machine operator. Bill was a member of Good Samaritan Catholic Church, Ambridge, American Legion Post 641, and the Polish Falcons and was a former member of the Ambridge District Sportsman Association. He was an avid golfer and fisherman and enjoyed traveling. Surviving are two children, Julie and Billy Mogyorosi, both of Pittsburgh; sister and brother-in-law, Jan and Tom Ion, of Fort Myers, Fla.; niece, Katie Ion, of Fort Myers, Fla.; nephew, Chris Ion, of Newbury Park, Calif.; cousins, Michele (John) Bozic, of Franklin Park, and Daryl "Smitty" (Johanna) Schmidt of Fair Oaks; and numerous other cousins and dear friends. Friends will be received Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the JOHN SYKA FUNERAL HOME INC., 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge, where prayers will be offered Saturday at 8:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 9 a.m. in Good Samaritan Catholic Church. Private interment will be in Good Samaritan Cemetery.
