Nagpur: The Raisoni Group of Institutions will conduct a free career counselling session through dermatoglyphic intelligence test (DMIT) in the city. This technology uses fingerprints to evaluate one’s intelligence through biometrics.
The test will be conducted on June 1 and counselling on June 2 and 3 at Shraddha House, Kingsway. The counselling is open to students of Standard X and XII.
Senior trainer of the group Tushar Muley said that capability and interest play an important role to become successful. Choosing the right career is a crucial aspect of life for which proper guidance is necessary. DMIT will help students decide their future course of action as there are multiple opportunities in the fields other than medicine and engineering, he said.
DMIT is a scientific method to understand brain lobes and its usages, said Nitish Gaikwad, also a DMIT trainer. It has been proved that there is a relation between fingerprints and brain lobes, he added.
Fingerprints reflect on the personality and aptitude of a student which are divided into four aspects and are compared to birds like eagle (goal orientation), dove (emotional quotient), owl (task orientation) and peacock (leadership qualities).
Nidhi Kurda said that DMIT helps one analyse the strengths and weakness of a particular person which helps in deciding the appropriate choice of career.
The technology has been in use in India since the past 10 years and is also seeing a rise in Nagpur.
