Los Angeles - Ever since Lucy Liu became a household name by playing Ling Woo on Ally McBeal 20 years ago, she has stuck to her signature long, black hair.
Well no more!
People magazine reports that Lucy appeared on Monday at the Obie Awards, an event honouring Off-Broadway and Off-Off-Broadway theatre productions, sporting a breathtaking warm, sandy blonde hair colour.

Lucy was seen with her usual dark hair as recently as 2 May, when she attended the Build Series at Build Studio.
Unless the character she has played on Elementary since 2012, Dr. Joan Watson, is planning a major makeover of her own, it's probably safe to assume we'll see Liu return to her more familiar colour soon.
