DANBURY - Karen Road was shut down near Stadley Rough elementary school Thursday morning after a car slammed into a utility pole.
The accident occurred near Stadley Rough Elementary School at around 9 a.m. Thursday. Authorities said no students were involved in the accident. One car smashed into a utility pole that was located near a speed bump in the roadway.
No major injuries were reported as a result of the crash, but the utility pole was snapped in half and the road was closed while crews repaired the damage.
