Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) sold stocks worth a net Rs 254.92 crore into the secondary equity markets on 23 May 2018, lower than net outflow of Rs 1576.81 crore on 22 May 2018.

The net outflow of Rs 254.92 crore into the secondary equity markets on 23 May 2018 was a result of gross purchases of Rs 4449.88 crore and gross sales of Rs 4704.80 crore.

There was a net outflow of Rs 7.30 crore from the 'primary market & others' category on 23 May 2018.
