BBC reports that US President Donald Trump has cancelled a planned summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, saying it would be inappropriate at this time.
Trump said he had made the decision based on the “tremendous anger and open hostility” in a recent North Korean statement.
The announcement came in a letter to Kim released by the White House.
The summit was scheduled to take place in Singapore on June 12.
