ALBANY — State labor officials, Gold Star mothers and other loved ones of fallen veterans gathered at the state office campus Wednesday to honor U.S. veterans.
The state Department of Labor hosted the the 25th annual Memorial Day Ceremony at 12:30 p.m. at the memorial stone for fallen members of all services outside Building 12.
Commissioner Roberta Reardon addressed the crowd, as did Cindy Roberts, the president of the Albany Chapter of the American Gold Star Mothers.
Members of the Tri County Council Vietnam-Era Veterans Color Guard were also in attendance.
