GURUGRAM: The district administration has changed the timings of all government schools seeing the continuous heat wave in the city. All government schools will close by 1.30 pm from May 25. The city sizzled at 44 degrees on Wednesday.

Vinay Pratap Singh has changed the timings of all government schools in district Gurugram. As per orders of DC, the timings in all govt schools in district
Gurugram will be from 8 AM to 1.30 PM from 25 May onwards till summer vacations begin, that is, 1st June.”
According to weather analysts, the next respite from excessive heat is likely only towards the end of May. Interestingly, summer vacations in most of the private schools in the city has already started.
