The benchmark fell 1.82 per cent to 30,665.64, while the dropped 2.1 per cent to a five-day low of 12,090.79. .

Turnover increased to HK$115.4 billion from HK$95.9 billion on Monday. Hong Kong stock exchange reopened on Wednesday after a public holiday to mark the on Tuesday.
