Haryana Government on Tuesday asked deputy commissioners to periodically monitor and review the works being done by officers of the Health Department in the state.

Besides,  chief medical officers and deputy CMOs have been asked to remain present in the OPDs twice a week.

Additional Chief Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department, RR Jowel issued these directions while presiding over a review meeting of the measles and rubella campaign with DCs and CMOs through video-conferencing in Fatehabad. The Director General, Health, Dr Satish Aggarwal, and Mission Director, National Health Mission, Amneet P. Kumar, were also present.

“As there is less workload on doctors deputed in dispensaries, they would be deputed in civil hospitals to provide  better healthcare facilities,” said Jowe.
