Zinc up on scattered industrial demand

prices edged higher by Rs 2 per kg at the non-market today on mild demand from consuming industries.

Traders said, some demand from consuming industries at domestic spot market led to increased prices.

In the national capital, ingot inched up by Rs 2 to Rs 140-146 per kg.

Following are today's rates (in Rs per kg):

ingot Rs 140-146, nickel plate (4x4) Rs 865-870, gun Rs 227, bell Rs 229, copper mixed Rs 445, chadri deshi Rs 295.

Lead ingot Rs 141, lead imported Rs 148, aluminium ingots Rs 168, aluminium sheet cutting Rs 164, aluminium wire scrap Rs 164 and aluminium utensils scrap Rs 162.
