Former Central Minister and BJP leader Bandaru Dattatreya’s son Vaishnav died this morning due to heart attack in Hyderabad. Vaishnav was 21 and pursuing his third year MBBS in a college on the outskirts of the city. His family informed that he complained uneasiness after having dinner last evening at their residence at Ramnagar and he breathed his last while undergoing treatment at a private hospital at Musheerabad during wee hours.
He was the only son of Dattatreya, who represents Secunderabad Lok Sabha constituency. Vaishnav was also actively involved in the BJP activities in Secunderabad. A large number of BJP activists gathered in front of the hospital to pay homage to Vaishnav. It is learnt that Prime Minister Narendra Modi called Mr Dattatreya and conveyed his condolences. He also asked one of the Cabinet ministers to attend the cremation.
Telangana Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, BJP State President K Laxman, Pradesh Congress President Uttam Kumar Reddy, TDP State President L Ramana among others who expressed grief on the sudden demise of his son and conveyed condolences to the bereaved family.
