Gujjars pay homage to those who died during 2008 agitation

A condolence meeting was held at Pilukapura area in Rajasthan's district to pay homage to 18 people who lost their lives during the 2008 Gujjar agitation.

Kirori Singh Bainsla and other community members paid floral tributes to the people who died on this day in Pilukapura in 2008.

Bainsla also addressed a gathering of nearly 500 people and said that the struggle of the community to get five per cent reservation was on, of Gujjar Aarakshan Sangharsh Samiti, Himmat Singh said.

He said another condolence meeting will be held tomorrow in Sikandara where 20 people had died during the agitation.
