Oliver may not be able to put his vigilante hood back on now that he's locked away in prison, but there's still one archer on Arrow who could get the job done in Season 7.
The CW announced earlier this year that Colton Haynes would return as a series regular for Season 7, and whether he'll be suiting up again or not, at least we can be certain that he'll be back on Team Arrow in some capacity. Let's just hope he's not returning with a broken heart after driving off into the sunset with Thea (Willa Holland) in Season 6.
As for Haynes' former and now once-again Arrow co-stars, to say they're jazzed to have him back would probably be a little bit of an understatement.
"I'm so game! I'm so game for Colton to be back," Emily Bett Rickards tells TV Guide. "I get my friend back! I miss Roy Harper! I want Felicity and Roy to have a friendship and have his broodiness overtake her quirkiness - like I want that dynamic back. There's no one like Colton Haynes, so I'm excited!"
Arrow Finale: Not Everyone Survived
Stephen Amell shared her enthusiasm, saying, "It's going to be wonderful to work with Colton again. Obviously Roy Harper is such an integral part to the Arrow universe, and both personally and professionally I think it's going to be fantastic."
It's still a mystery exactly how, why or when Roy Harper will return to Star City, but so long as he's here to stay, we're not worried about the details. Welcome home Roy!
