SP MLA Hari Om Yadav and his son is in jail

Demanding action in a murder case and trying to get a former minister named in the FIR landed Samajwadi Party MLA from Sirsaganj (Ferozabad) Hari Om Yadav and his son Vijay Pratap aka Chotu in jail. 

After arresting them, the police registered a case for creating obstacle in police working and instigating public for agitation against the government. 

Legsilator Hari Om Yadav, a kin of SP patron Mulayam Singh Yadav, later alleged that he was arrested due to political reasons and save the culprits as they belonged to the BJP. 

As per reports, two groups from Pahengu Ghari hamlet and Senawali hamlet of Sirsaganj clashed after some cattle entered some fields and grazed the crop on Monday evening. The matter took an ugly turn when villagers led by former BJP minister Jaiveer Singh and his son brutally assaulted Shyamveer Yadav with sticks and rods, resulting in his death. 

Angered by the death, local residents staged a demonstration demanding action against the culprits, but the local police refused to register any case against BJP leader. 

Later, MLA from Sirsaganj, Hari Om Yadav and his son Vijay Pratap joined the villagers and laid seige to the police station, demanding registration of a case against Jaiveer Singh and his son. 

Finding the situation spiralling out of hands, SSP of Ferozabad, Rahul Yaduvendu reached the police station along with heavy police force and arrested the SP MLA. Later the protestors were chased away. 

After holding the MLA and his son in the police station lock-up through the night, the police finally registered a case against them on Tuesday morning. Heavy police force was deployed in the area to avert any exigency.
