After a complaint about people fighting, Dover Police arrested a man they said fired a weapon  in the area of Vera Way and College Road.

Officers were called to the area around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday and learned a man had gotten out of a gray vehicle at the scene and fired a weapon before fleeing, police said.

Police conducted a traffic stop in the area of Walker Road and North State Street and arrested 25-year-old Eric Lloyd. Police said they found a shotgun in the front seat loaded with the same kind of ammunition found at the original scene.

Lloyd was sent to the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in default of a #32,500 secured bond for charges of possession of a firearm during a felony, four counts of aggravated menacing and five counts of reckless endangering.
