Unai Emery message from Arsene Wenger revealed: Arsenal legend's classy gesture uncovered
UNAI EMERY was sent a classy message from Arsene Wenger when he was under pressure at PSG.
PSG fans were calling for Emery's head after their side were dumped out the Champions League by Real Madrid in February.
With Emery's job hanging by a thread, the Coupe de la Ligue final against Monaco took on even more importance in March.
At the time, Wenger too was under the cosh with mounting pressure from Arsenal supporters.

But despite having his own problems to worry about, Wenger found time to send a public message to Emery in a bid to stop him getting sacked.
The Frenchman said: "I was always close to PSG. I have always supported PSG -- I think that they need stability.
"Unai has already been dismissed by the media, but that is a decision that can only be taken by the club. From the outside looking in, I believe that Unai is very competent and that PSG's project must be based on stability if it is to move forward.

"Unlike you, I do not think that Unai must go. People are always very quick to decide things in emergencies. When you have responsibilities, it is a bit different."
Wenger's words didn't go unnoticed by Emery, who took to Twitter to thank the Gunners boss.
"The focus of the entire PSG family is nowhere other than Bordeaux," Emery wrote. "I would also like to thank Arsene for his kind words - a true model in the world of football. Come on, Paris!"
Emery's side went on to see off Monaco 3-0 with Edinson Cavani netting two and Angel di Maria getting the other to lift the cup.

It wasn't enough for Emery to keep his job but he was today appointed the new Arsenal boss, replacing Wenger after 22 years in charge.
After his appointment was confirmed, Emery said: "I'm very excited to be given the responsibility to start this important new chapter in Arsenal's history.
"I am thrilled to be joining one of the great clubs in the game. Arsenal is known and loved throughout the world for its style of play, its commitment to young players, the fantastic stadium, the way the club is run.
"I'm excited about what we can do together and I look forward to giving everyone who loves Arsenal some special moments and memories."
