• Clippers: Visiting Toledo ended Triple-A Columbus’ four-game winning streak, 4-1. Third baseman Yandy Diaz had two of the Clippers’ four hits. Starter Adam Wilk (1-5) went six innings for the Clippers (22-22). Indians outfielder Lonnie Chisenhall walked, struck out and scored a run.

• RubberDucks: Catcher Sicnarf Loopstok’s sacrifice fly in the 11th inning gave Double-A Akron a 2-1 victory over visiting Trenton. Shortstop Sam Haggerty had an RBI double for the RubberDucks (27-19). Akron starter Jake Paulson pitched seven shutout innings, striking out six.

• Hillcats: Host Myrtle Beach blanked advanced Single-A Lynchburg (23-20), 5-0. The Hillcats were limited to six hits and struck out 11 times. Right fielder Mitch Longo (Mayfield) had one hit, extending his hitting streak to nine games.

• Captains: Host Dayton scored the go-ahead run in the eighth-inning, leading a 5-4 victory over Single-A Lake County (20-26). Third baseman Tyler Friis was 3-for-4 with a double and two runs for the Captains.
