Police are looking for a man they say took a $7,000 bicycle for a test drive and never came back.

A man walked into a Dundas bike shop on May 17, Hamilton police say. He asked if he could test ride a bike.

He filled out a waiver form, police say, and left a set of keys as collateral. But the information and the keys were fraudulent. He left on the bike and didn't return.

Police are looking for a Silver Trek Fuel EX 9.8 dual suspension mountain bike. They're also looking for a suspect they describe as a white male who wore sandals, beige shorts and a green and white lumberjack type shirt.
