Kylie Lecomte's single up the middle in the bottom of the seventh inning scored Ali Feilhauer as the Case Cardinals defeated visiting Bishop Stang in non-league softball action Wednesday.

Lecomte finished 2-for-2 at the plate.

Autumn Medeiros went 3-for-4 for the Cardinals and added two runs scored and drove in a run, while Madyson Medeiros was 2-for-4 with a pair of RBIs.

Case improved to 14-4 and hosts D-R next Wednesday.

Bishop Connolly 16, Blue Hills 11: Jillian Mercer was the winning pitcher for the Cougars, who improved to 4-9.

Emma Mello, Madison Amaral and Megan Quigley all had two hits for the winners. Mello also scored four runs.
