Twitter reacts to AB's shocking retirement

Cape Town - Proteas star batsman AB de Villiers announced his shocking retirement on Wednesday from all forms of international cricket with immediate effect.

The 34-year-old said he was "tired" and that this was the right time to call time on his 14-year international cricket career.

De Villiers will go down as one of the greatest batsmen the country has ever produced.

He represented his country in 114 Tests, 228 One-Day Internationals and 78 T20 Internationals.
