Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and National Defence Fund(NDF)

All donations towards the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and the National Defence Fund(NDF) are notified for 100% deduction from taxable income under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act,1961

The Cabinet also gave its approval for the Implementation of a Comprehensive Telecom Development Plan, CTDP, for the North Eastern Region in Meghalaya. This project will cost 3,911 crore rupees.

Strengthening of telecom network will help in increasing the penetration of mobile connectivity in Meghalaya resulting in affordable and equitable access of communication, information and governance to people.
