Delays on Monaro Highway north of Cooma after fatal crash
Drivers are being warned to expect delays and exercise caution on the Monaro Highway north of Cooma after a fatal crash.
The highway was closed to all traffic seven kilometres north of Cooma at 10.50am on Tuesday. It reopened on Tuesday afternoon with stop/slow traffic conditions in place to allow traffic to pass in both directions.
Police said a 75-year-old man had died after the crash, while his wife was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle had been taken for mandatory blood and urine testing.
