Arsenal news: Ian Wright makes big Chelsea claim about Unai Emery appointment
UNAI EMERY can’t be expected to win the Premier League in his first season at Arsenal like Antonio Conte did at Chelsea.

That is the verdict of Arsenal legend-turned-pundit Ian Wright.
It was reported on Monday evening that former Paris Saint-Germain boss Emery is expected to take over and he will be formally confirmed as Arsene Wenger’s successor later this week.
Manchester City assistant coach Mikel Arteta had been the frontrunner, but the Gunners board appeared to be won over by Emery.
In Wenger’s last season in charge, the Gunners finished sixth in the table and face a rebuilding job in the summer, although Emery is likely to be handed a £50million budget - a mere fraction of what he was able to spend during his time in charge of PSG.

Conte had a different team and a better team
And Wright is convinced that with the squad at his disposal, the Gunners must lower their expectations insofar as winning the title goes next season.
“If he can get us back into a situation where we are challenging to get back into the top four, that’s the start for me,” Wright said.
“You can’t be starting to ask him to win the Premier League with the squad we’ve got.
“Conte had a different team and a better team. And he was able to turn them around once he changed the system and the boys got into he.
“He had fantastic players and I wouldn’t say we have players of that calibre.
“I think Aubameyang, Mkhitaryan and Ozil are not a bad three to have. Hopefully they can keep Ramsey.”
