A man was robbed at his Whitehall apartment after arranging to meet a woman there via an online dating service, according to Whitehall police.

The man, who resides in the 1000 block of Irongate Lane, told Whitehall police at 12:45 a.m. May 9 that he arranged to meet a woman by the name of "Elsie" via OK Cupid and provided her the address to his apartment.

When the victim opened the door, two men -- one dressed as a woman -- forced their way into the apartment, reports said.

The men ransacked the apartment, then found a gun inside the victim's bedroom, pointed it at him and demanded money, saying they should "cap (him) right now," according to reports.

The suspects took video-game consoles and games, cellphones, tools a television, a knife and the gun.

Police later arrested two men, each 23 years old, for aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony, in connection with the incident.

Each was scheduled for a preliminary hearing May 18 in Franklin County Municipal Court.

* Police are investigating an incident in which multiple shots reportedly were fired from a moving vehicle at 6:35 p.m. May 10.

Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Bernhard Road, but witnesses in the 4400 block of Josephus Lane stopped police en route and reported they saw someone shooting from a vehicle that had been involved in an apparent altercation with the occupants of another vehicle in a parking lot of a church in the 1000 block of Ross Road.

According to police, there was a meeting at the church at the time of the incident that provided officers with multiple witnesses, and some neighbors also witnessed the incident.

Witnesses could not give a consistent description of the occupants of the two vehicles other than both seemed to be women.

As one of the vehicles fled, a woman began shooting at it, according to reports.

The vehicles reportedly fled in different directions.

Ten .380-shell casings were found on Josephus Lane, and because four were silver and six were brass, and police noted a divergence in the line in which they were recovered, it is possible there were two shooters in the same vehicle, according to reports.

Police are analyzing a Facebook Live video that was being recorded near the scene at the time of the shooting.

In the video, there is discussion about two women meeting up to fight, then after arriving, it shows two vehicles in the parking lot and a woman driving one of the vehicles approaching the other before an argument ensues. The video then shows one of the vehicles fleeing, and gunshots, about 12 or 13, are heard in the audio, according to reports.
