Mumbai: The Delhi Daredevils (DD) campaign did not end well and finished last on the points table, but their campaign ended on a high note after winning two back to back matches one against Chennai Super Kings and the other with Mumbai Indians, thus spoiling the party for Mumbai Indians.
Talking about parties, DD management has been allegedly cautioned by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for inviting some cheerleaders to a dinner event. This event was held on last Friday, after DD’s match against CSK. The event forced the ACU to warn the team in order to prevent the players from being contacted by people from outside the fraternity.
As per the media reports, the ACU has not filed a complaint as yet but will make sure that the incident is mentioned in the IPL feedback report. As per the report ACU officials had informed the franchises against inviting cheerleaders for such events. The ACU was obviously was alert enough to report the incident and brified the team to avoid such incidents in the near future.
If media reports are to be believed then the DD’s management has denied of any such report.
