Express Sport understands the Gunners will appoint the former PSG manager later this week.
Emery, 46, was sacked by PSG earlier this month, despite landing the domestic treble with the French giants.
And Arsenal shareholder Morgan, who is well known for letting his opinions known on the Gunners, says he’s happy with the imminent appointment of Emery.
He tweeted: “I wanted a young, dynamic manager with a proven track record.
“I thus approve of Arsenal appointing Unai Emery, 46.
“Just won the Treble at PSG after winning 3 successive Europas at Sevilla.

Arsenal have opted for Emery over former Gunners star Mikel Arteta, who is currently a coach at Manchester City under Pep Guardiola.
It’s claimed Arteta snubbed the chance to manage his former side, with the Spaniard having concerns over Arsenal’s summer transfer budget.
Instead, Emery will now succeed Wenger, who left this season Arsenal after 22 years in north London.
Ian Wright has been vocal on Emery heading to the Emirates, with the Gunners hero claiming the ex-PSG boss must adapt quickly to life in the Premier League.
He added: “Emery has had loads of money to spend at Paris Saint-Germain.
“Now he has to come to Arsenal with £50m with a bunch of players who have been playing in second gear.
“His coaching ability will have to get going instantly and he will have to find some gems instantly.”
