Trump refuses security measures for his iPhone: report

President Donald Trump has refused attempts to upgrade the security of a White House-issued cell phone, Politico reported Monday, leaving it exposed to potential hackers and eavesdroppers. According to the report, Trump has one Apple Inc. iPhone capable only of making calls, and another iPhone for Twitter and other apps that has no extra security features. Sources told Politico that Trump has refused to have the Twitter phone swapped out on a monthly basis, calling it "too inconvenient" and has gone as much as five months without it being checked by security experts. It was unclear how often his phone for calls was swapped out. Former President Barack Obama reportedly had his phone swapped out every month for security. Politico noted that Trump's phones have a camera and microphone, which could be accessed by hackers. During the 2016 campaign, Trump railed against Hillary Clinton for her use of a private email server, which was vulnerable to hackers.
