Dantiwada RFO held taking bribe

Palanpur: The anti-corruption bureau (ACB) sleuths arrested range forest officer (RFO) of Dantiwada in Banaskantha, Chandrakant Joshi, on Tuesday accepting Rs 12,000 bribe from a contractor as first instalment for allowing him to carry tractor load of wood.
ACB inspector K J Patel said the contractor had approached ACB with a complaint against Joshi So, ACB laid a trap and arrested Joshi from forest office at Dantiwada.

On searching the forest officer’s house, the anti-corruption bureau sleuths recovered Rs 13.75 lakh cash.
