In Karnataka, election to Rajarajeshwari Assembly constituency will be held on the 28th this month and counting will take place on the 31st. The election to the constituency was postponed after more than 9,000 voters IDs were found in an apartment and a case of election unfair practices was registered against the Congress candidate.
Bengaluru Urban Deputy Commissioner Maheshwar Rao said, over 2,500 polling personnel are being deputed in 421 polling booths. Addressing media persons in Bengaluru, he said, 186 booths are identified as critical, 47 as very critical and four of them supercritical. There are over four lakh 71,000 voters in the constituency in Bengaluru. The election to Jayanagar Assembly constituency will be held on 11th June and counting will be on the 13th. The election to the constituency was countermanded after a BJP candidate passed away before the Assembly election held on the 12th of this month.
