DANBURY— A Danbury man turned himself in last week after police learned he was in possession of child pornography.

Police said they first received informaton that Steven Randi, 69, was in posession of child pornography last August. The Special Victims Unit then investigated Randi and issued an arrest warrant for Randi.

When Randi learned about the warrant, he turned himself in at the Danbury Police Department last Thursday. He was charged with first-degree possession of child pornography and was released on a $100,000 bond.

He is scheduled to appear in court this Thursday.
