Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and National Defence Fund(NDF)

All donations towards the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and the National Defence Fund(NDF) are notified for 100% deduction from taxable income under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act,1961

India today said, the purpose of the Biratnagar Camp Office of the Embassy of India in Nepal opened in 2008 to deal with the situation arising out of devastating Kosi floods, has been fulfilled.

In reply to media query, the MEA spokesperson said, the Government had already decided to wind up the Camp Office and re-locate the personnel. This decision was conveyed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to his Nepalese counterpart during his visit to Nepal last week.

The Prime Minister of Nepal thanked Mr Modi for informing him about this decision.
