Boulder's Neptune Mountaineering cafe to offer beer, wine

Boulder's Neptune Mountaineering, an iconic outdoor retailer, will soon begin offering beer and wine at the in-store cafe and coffee bar.

The store approved for a beer and wine license last week by the city's Beverage Licensing Authority and a state license is expected to finalized in the near future, according to Neptune co-owner Shelley Dunbar.

The store, which was saved from bankruptcy last year, will hold a grand re-opening celebration Saturday, June 16. Festivities will include promotions, raffles, games, music, food and drinks.
