‘You're supposed to believe in democracy' Brexiteer booed as he demands respect for Brexit
A BREXITEER was booed on BBC’s The Hour after he demanded Labour politicians respect the Brexit vote because they “supposed to believe in democracy”.
One member of the debate, who voted to leave the European Union was booed by fellow participants after demanding respect from Labour politicians.
The Brexiteer said: “I voted Leave and what I don’t understand is that you have now got politicians ignoring Brexit, and Welsh politicians in particular, and I’ve spoken to quite a few.
“Labour is supposed to believe in democracy and the vote was to leave.
“You’re supposed to react on behalf of the constituents and their constituents voted Leave.

All I see coming now from the decision to leave is economic poverty
“I don’t understand all this battle for Remain if you all believe in democracy.
“We voted to Leave - we should be leaving.”
This follows after the Welsh First Minister Carwyn Jones claimed Britain could become a member of the European Economic Area post-Brexit.
However, Prime Minister Theresa May has ruled out Britain adopting the Norway-style Brexit model once the UK cuts ties with the EU.
The Labour Assembly Member for Pontypridd, Mick Antoniw was also at the BBC’s debate and said that he felt that Brexit would leave Wales in economic poverty.
Mr Antoniw said: “My constituency was about 50/50 but because the individual constituencies did not have ballots but the best data that there is suggests that it was very slightly in favour of Remain.
“Two years on what I am disappointed about is that there isn’t a significant movement for change.
