Marvel Studios has been ambitious in making not just one, but two Summer blockbusters with Avengers Infinity War, released on April 26, and Deadpool 2, released May 16.
Fans have flocked to cinemas to catch the latest action - with multiple post-credit scenes in both blockbusters to quench their superhero thirst.
Which Marvel movie raked in more?
Some of the most successful films in the last 10 years have been from Marvel Studios, raking in more than $16 billion in worldwide ticket sales.
While Avengers: Infinity War is one of the most expensive movies ever made, it has brought in more than $1.3 billion dollars in its opening two weeks.
In North America, the Marvel movie opened to more than $250 million, blowing past Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ $247.9 million.
When combined with $380 million at the foreign box office, that’s more than $630 million — the biggest opening of all time.
Deadpool 2 smashed through previous records for an R-rated movie’s opening day.
The second instalment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s favourite antihero debuted at $53.3 million dollars.
The Marvel movie made $18 million in its preview to beat the record’s previous owner, Stephen King’s horror It, which made $13.5 million.

Whilst Deadpool 2 was released a few weeks later than Avengers: Infinity War, it doesn’t look like it will catch up to the Avengers: Infinity War’s monumental financial success at Box Office.

Avengers Infinity War was a massive team-up movie, bringing in the most popular characters together for one dramatic movie.
