Ujjain: Samvad Kranti reveals true face of ‘corrupt’ higher educational system


Ujjain: Members of Samvad Kranti Yatra on Monday visited Vikram University and other government colleges of Ujjain division and held a conversation with faculties and students over corruption in the higher education system.

The members raised question as to why the government patronized corrupt elements. Samvad Kranti magazines were distributed to the teachers and students. RTI activist and convener of the ‘Yatra,’ Pankaj Prajapati addressed teachers and students also and said corrupt officials should be fired in the interest of improvement of education.

He underscored that in the magazine, documents related to the PSC scam, cross cadre scholarship and scam of the appointment of vice chancellor have been published. Prajapati said a patronizing government and its corrupt officials are the root cause of corruption which would have to be eradicated. He further said “Through the RTI, I made many efforts to reach out to corrupt persons but the government was protecting them.


The government also misguided the judiciary.” Prajapati said a revolution was necessary for curbing corruption. According to the spokesperson of Samvad Kranti Yatra, students and faculties agreed with Prajapati’s view.  Ashish Kumar, Nitesh Dod, Monika Mandre, Vabhav Nakhetra, Abhishek Sharma and Swaraj Dangi were present with their followers.
