Real Madrid star Marcelo’s son Enzo had visited the team’s dressing room last week to play the leading role in a header bin challenge with the left-back’s high-profile teammates in a video that went viral on the internet.

And now, after Enzo’s triumph in Real Madrid’s backroom, the Brazilian star decided to visit his son, who plays for the Los Blancos’ junior team, during a locker room session to re-enact the same challenge with Enzo’s teammates.

Here is the video:

Marcelo had uploaded the video on Instagram featuring the likes of Luka Modric, Sergio Ramos, Casemiro, Lukas Vasquez and Marco Asensio Enzo attempting the challenge with his son.

Speaking to Marca, Marcelo explained how the video came about.

“He always comes to training with me. I was playing with Casemiro and he told me, ‘I can do 15 heads-up with your son’,” Marcelo said.

“So I told Enzo, ‘son, we are doing to do 25!’ and we did do 25. The players stayed and we then tried to do it many times. Enzo is eight years old and for a professional player even to be able to do that is difficult.”

Revealing why Real Madrid’s Costa Rican goalkeeper was not involved in the challenge he added: “With Navas, a lot of people said it was because he was a goalkeeper [that he was left out] but he was dealing with the medical staff and had only arrived into the room.”

Commenting on his experience, Enzo said: “I train a lot at home with my father. The difficult thing about it was putting the ball in the basket at the end. It could easily hit the wall and fall outside so it had to be done with just the right amount of force.”
