For the first time ever, the Indian Permier Legugue (IPL) will witness a women’s T20 challenge match ahead of Qualifier 1 at the Wankhede on May 22. While the IPL Trailblazers will be led by Smriti Mandhana, the IPL Supernovas will be led by Harmanpreet Kaur. The women’s international stars from India, Australia, England and New Zealand will be in action. Among those are Jhulan Goswami, Danielle Wyatt, Alyssa Healy, Mithali Raj and Suzie Bates.
With an eye on growing this wave, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is hosting this T20 Challenge to provide the women’s game with a platform alongside its most popular tournament. The complete squads are as below:
