MILTON — An investigation into a serious ATV accident that happened in February in Milton has led to felony charges for two Saratoga County men.

Ballston Spa resident Duane Pettit, 50, was charged with felony aggravated DWI and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content greater than .08 following a Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office investigation in the Feb. 20 accident, deputies said. Pettit was the driver of the ATV.

Saratoga Springs resident Jeremy Latshaw, 32, was charged with felony tampering with physical evidence after he moved the ATV from the accident scene and hid it in a wooded area of West Milton Road, where the crash occurred, deputies said.

Both were released and are scheduled to appear in Milton Town Court at a later date.
