Lucifer fans, if you've already come to terms with the fact that the show is canceled, then this is totally good news! Others, it may just prolong the pain. Fox has set air dates for the two remaining episodes of the supernatural procedural that never aired.
Two hours of Lucifer were supposed to carry over into the next season as Fox produced some extra episodes of the show, and they will now air back-to-back on May 28 starting at 8/7c. The two episodes, "Boo Normal" and "Once Upon a Time," are both standalone episodes that were shot this spring and don't interfere with the serialized portion of the show.
Lucifer has done this before (minus the cancellation part); episodes for Season 2 were pushed into the super-sized 24-episode Season 3.
Oh Hell, LuciferHas Been Canceled By Fox
Sadly, that will probably be it for the show that was once a surprise hit for the network. Save the show campaigns for Lucifer haven't drummed up any interest from other networks to save the series.
