Power restored for residents in St. James
Thousands were without power Tuesday afternoon.

Almost 4,250 Manitoba Hydro customers were without power for several hours in Winnipeg Tuesday afternoon and evening.
As of Wednesday morning, all customers have had their power returned.
The large outage in St. James was caused by two pole fires.

The outage also affected streetlights along Portage Avenue during the afternoon drive.
Hydro thanked all customers for their patience as they worked on the difficult repair.
