Fans of The Flash are gearing up for tonight’s finale.
The episode is set to feature an epic showdown between Team Flash and supervillain Devos (played by Neil Sandilands).
The instalment, which is titled We are The Flash, could see the antagonist, also known as The Thinker, defeated once and for all - or Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) could be gravely harmed when he enters his mind.
The official synopsis from The CW simply reads: “Team Flash gets help from a surprising ally in their battle against DeVoe.”
Whatever happens, fans will be dying to know what will happen in season five when it returns.
When is The Flash season 5, episode 1 released?
The Flash season 5, episode 1 will be released in October 2018.
Although the date has not been officially confirmed, October is a pretty safe bet.
The CW announced that the fifth series of the DC Comics show was renewed in April and would be included in their Fall 2018 schedule.
All previous seasons have premiered in October, so there is no reason for season five to veer away from this arrangement.

So fans can expect to be tuning into the first new episode of the series sometime in October.
New episodes will most likely air on The CW in the US on Tuesday nights, before being added to Amazon Prime the following day.
Sky One also has the rights to the series in the UK and will be airing season five, episode one after US broadcast.

What will happen in The Flash season 5?
No plot details have been confirmed yet and tonight’s finale could have a big impact on what will happen next season.
Lead actor Grant Gustin said he’s “excited” about season five, particularly a storyline involving Mystery Girl (Jessica Parker Kennedy).
He told Entertainment Weekly: “It’s been the thing that I’ve been most excited about all season, which sounds ridiculous because it’s really a season five thing.”
Executive producer Todd Helbing added: “You get the question answered as to who she is.
“There’s actually an extra little bonus where something happens where you’ll realise exactly how she’ll play a part in the future.”
