India closes down camp office in Nepal

Over a month after a blast at an Indian field office at in Nepal, has said that its has closed down the office

"The Camp Office of the in was opened in 2008 to deal with the situation arising out of devastating Kosi floods," said late on Monday in response to queries.

"The purpose for which this camp office was opened has been fulfilled," Kumar said adding the that the government had already decided to wind up the office and relocate the personnel.

He said this decision decision was conveyed by to his Nepalese counterpart during his visit to earlier this month.
