Squantz Pond State Park reopened Monday, after nearly a week of cleanup following the May 15 storm.
Seven state parks closed due to damage from the storm, including three in the Danbury area. Putnam Memorial Park in Redding opened shortly after the storm last week.
Of those parks, Kettletown in Southbury, Sleeping Giant in Hamden and Wharton Brook in Wallingford remain closed.
The state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection will make a decision Tuesday about whether Kettletown will be open for Memorial Day weekend. No timeline has been set yet for the other two closed parks.
Additional patrols by the DEEP Environmental Conservation Police will continue to enforce the closures of those three parks.
