Two Virginia residents are wanted in connection with a shooting and reported theft Sunday night, police said.

Police are seeking Mark Anthony Goldring Jr., 31, of Reston; and Dystani Dale Bethea, 19, of Stafford. Their whereabouts are unknown, Lynchburg police said in a news release early Monday.

Goldring is wanted on charges of malicious wounding, possession of a firearm by a felon, discharging a firearm in an occupied dwelling and use of a firearm in a felony.

Bethea is wanted on a charge of grand larceny.

At 10:24 p.m. Sunday, police were called to 131 Timber Court, which is off Old Forest Road across from Framatome, and found a man with a gunshot wound to his upper torso. He was taken to the hospital; police described his injury as non-life-threatening and he is listed in stable condition.

Police said the shooting happened inside 95 Timber Court and was a domestic incident involving the residents of that address and a family member; the incident appears to be isolated in nature.

Police said in the news release it was reported to them that the suspects stole the victim's electronics from the home before fleeing in an unknown vehicle.
